Bits of Life

Although I wrote everyday in October, it seems like it's been a while since I've chatted about little happenings around here.

On one hand, it seems that life has been fairly routine. And on the other, when I look back, I realize that this last month or so has been full and busy.

Luke turned 6 months old, my mom came to visit, we visited the state fair, we dressed Luke up as a pumpkin for Halloween, we went to a wedding, we visited more family, we celebrated Josh's birthday, and we were also busy with life things like school and work.

It's been full. And as I look ahead at the next month or so to come, I realize that this semester will be over in just a few weeks, and we'll soon be celebrating a graduation and Christmas. Goodness--how did that happen? It seems like yesterday that we were still waiting to see if our little nugget was a boy or girl!

Just for fun, here are some pictures from the last month or so :)

Our little pumpkin

Enjoying (as much as you can with a little one) our time at a family wedding

The new version of a family picture

Waiting for grandma to come :)

He enjoyed his first time riding in the shopping cart like a big boy

This boy loves to eat, so starting solids has been easy. He loves pretty much anything we give him!

Cheering on the Aggies!

He was pretty sad that Grandma was leaving ;(

Celebrating a baby-free anniversary date

We've enjoyed lots of walks now that the weather is cooler

It was the first time at the State fair for both of us!

What have you been up to lately?

  1. What an adorable little pumpkin man!!! Such a cutie!! I may have to try my little guy in the shopping cart now...he is about the size of Luke! That must be great!

  2. His little cheeks are so great! I felt the same way after the 31 days series...I loved writing about one topic but I was like okay so now I have a lot to catch up on...the normal stuff!
