March Goals

Yay for March! I'm a bit partial to March since my birthday is at the tail end :) But this year I'm a little more nervous since I'll be turning the big 3-0. What??

I don't have any specific plans yet, but I do hope to celebrate it well. You do only turn 30 once :)

But, before I head into March's goals, let's look at February's goals:

Start Fika with friends. I had one meeting, and this month am doing two. So, we'll see how it goes :)

Paint bathroom vanity. Done and Done.

Design 3-5 new poster prints. Yep. You can see them here, here, and here.

Do five Pilates or barre workouts per week. Nope. I did work out during the week, but not five times. I'm realizing that this kind of goal isn't working for me. I'm not really sure why--perhaps it needs to be more specific?

Do a Valentine's Day craft/activity with Luke. We colored and painted little hearts--and that's about it. But, it does count, right?

So, now to March's goals:

Design 5 new prints for the shop. I have had lots of ideas, so now to create them :) I also need to weed out some of the not-so-great-sellers and replace/refresh them.

Mop kitchen + vacuum rugs at least once a week. Yikes. I'm not the best housekeeper in the world, but I do want to get better at it. So, my goal is to start implementing some weekly habits that help me keep up with everything.

Walk when the weather is nice. This time of year is the sweet spot of Texas weather, so I want to get out there and enjoy it. So, if it's not rainy and wet, I want to at least take a couple laps around the block and get some fresh air and exercise.

Do something fun + special for my birthday. I'm not super sure what I want to do yet. Camping, dinner out, a little getaway, staycation, etc...so, I'll have to pinpoint some ideas :)

Paint pantry and kitchen garage door. This project won't be too much work, but it really needs to be done (sometimes those smaller projects are the ones that take forever!) We are inching closer to the finish line for the kitchen, and I'm so thankful that our project list is getting shorter.

Start Bible reading in the mornings. Honestly, I've struggled to find a good time to be in the Word, but I know that mornings work best for me. So, I'm going to start disciplining myself to wake up a little earlier and have some reading/praying/quiet time without a busy toddler :)

I think that's it! What about you?

  1. Awesome job on your Feb. goals! I think that crafting totally counts. And yeah, I'm terrrrrible at cleaning floors. I'd like to invest in some tiny, magical floor-cleaning fairies, personally. ;)
p.s. Little Luke looks SO grown-up there!
