A little bit about Christmas

This year, our Christmas was relatively low-key. Usually, we are traveling around Texas and then to Minnesota--it's both a busy and a sweet time for us. But, this year, we stayed in Texas, and although I really missed being with family up there, I didn't miss the extra travel.

Also, I hardly took any pictures. Sometimes, I'd rather live it than document every minute of it. There was excitement from Luke when he opened gifts, sweet conversations with family, lots of time in the car, visiting family we rarely see, and getting in a little extra time with Josh.

We spent Christmas Eve at home because we wanted to celebrate Christmas with just the three of us. Dominos pizza, candlelight, and present opening were the perfect ingredients for a restful and calm family Christmas. It definitely made me look forward to many more Christmases to come :)

I hope that you all had a lovely, lovely Christmas!

  1. Looks like the perfect Christmas! Can't wait for next year when we aren't traveling! Traveling with a toddler who doesn't sleep well other places and gets into EVERYTHING has made for an exhausting trip for us! Ha ha and I totally said this year -- you can tell its Christian's second christmas because I barely took any pictures! Ha ha happy new year! I'll be ordering a print soon! :)
