Throwback Thursday: House Edition
Since we are actually beginning our DIY kitchen redo (wish us luck!) this weekend, I thought I'd share a before and after of what the kitchen looks like now. We didn't put too much effort into it since we planned on making some big changes within a few months of moving in.
So, here's what it looked like upon moving in:
And here's what it looks like now:
Honestly, it does not look a whole different. But, soon...soon, it will :)
What we've done:
We plan on removing the cabinets and adding a few to increase storage and counter-space, installing a regular oven instead of the stovetop and wall oven, removing the wall oven and building a pantry space where it is, and remove current tile and retile (that's a whole other story!), plus seemingly 1000 other little things :) I look forward to sharing the process!

So, here's what it looked like upon moving in:

I absolutely love my few when I look out the window above the sink. It's my favorite part of the kitchen :)

- paint back wall with chalkboard paint
- clean cabinets
- remove wallpaper above the cabinets
- painted walls with "Rope" by Valspar
- Added a few plants
