Capture the Year: Week 22

Well, I'm back from our busy week of packing, moving, cleaning, and traveling. Thanks to Beth at dot in the city and Cassie from Primitive and Proper for guest posting over here at my deserted blog!

This week's recap is a little late, but hey, better late than never!

This past week we:

Visited with friends in the Dallas area at our favorite hometown cafe, Bill Smith's:

Packed up all our belongings:

Moved all our stuff into a storage space for the three weeks that we'll be in between leases:

Had a coffee break during our busy day of cleaning (believe me, we needed it!):

I practiced a little embroidery:

Finished cleaning up (Mac looks so forlorn...and confused!) and handed in our key:

Stopped in Branson to visit my grandparents and see Joseph (at the Sight and Sound Theater):

Hit the road to Minnesota (we'll be here for a few weeks to hang out with family, enjoy temps that are not 100 degrees, relax, recover, and we are also house sitting--which is SO fun!):

So, let's just say it was a very, crazy week! I'm looking forward to some downtime :)
