Marge gets a Spring Makeover

Do you remember Marge?

Well, she was starting to get a little frumpy, so I decided to spruce her up a bit. Since I don't have a mantel, she gets all my seasonal decor lovin'!

I bought some canvases and enjoyed using paint and paper to create some easy and cheap artwork. I'll tell you more about how simple they are to make soon :)

 

I rearranged the shelves and uncluttered them a bit. I'm still not all too wonderful at staging my bookshelf, but I'm working on it!

I also added a chalkboard that I made with an old cabinet a few months ago. Just simple things to add a little cheer :)

It's fun to add a little bright and happy to the house (even though it's felt like spring here since...well, January!).
