Blast from the Past: Christmas Edition

This year, Josh and I will celebrate our 4th Christmas together. Sometimes it's fun to reminisce a bit about Christmas' past. Such fond memories!

Christmas #1 arrived after we'd only been married about 2 1/2 months. We enjoyed picking out a lovely tree, decorating cookies, and taking way too many timed photos! And after Christmas (when we didn't feel like dragging a half-dead tree down the 3 flights of stairs), we threw our tree off the balcony. There were needles on the sidewalk for weeks! Here's a video to prove it! (forgive my weird laugh and ignore the part when I mumble to myself)

Christmas #2 was right before we moved to Bryan, Tx for Josh to finish his schooling. Even though we knew we'd be moving soon, we still got a little tree (we were living in a 650 sq. ft. apartment!) and did the 12 days of Christmas (we gave each other a small gift each day for the 12 days leading up to Christmas). In the future, we'd love to do that again!

Christmas #3 was our first Christmas with Mac and living in our current home. We got a tree just a few days before leaving for Minnesota but enjoyed having it even for that short of time! You can see more about that here. In Minnesota, we had fun introducing Mac to the snow and enjoyed spending time with family!

Christmas #4 is still a work in progress! But so far we've enjoyed getting our tree and having a night on the town (enjoying yummy food, Christmas lights, and choir music!)...we're excited for the next weeks that we will spend traveling and seeing friends and family :)
