Meet Charlotte: Spindly-legged and Sweet

This purchase was a bit of an "oops" purchase. I bought this desk a bit ago (still haven't gotten around to painting it...

And although I like the desk (especially the drawer space), I don't have much leg room and I hate having my legs get all squished up. So, I've been on a look-out for a smaller desk with more leg freedom. When I noticed this table on Craigslist, I thought "Perfect!" It was petite, ready to be painted, and had ample room for my legs!

And then I met the seller to pick it up. And it was 22" tall. Oops. Not exactly desk material (unless I'm 2 feet tall)! Thankfully, I still liked the piece and knew it had potential!

Here she is before:

And here's Charlotte after a coat of creamy white paint, a little distressing, and a nice waxing:

I couldn't help but let Mr. Owl strut his stuff during the photo shoot--he's just so cute (um, I mean handsome after his recent make-over)!

What do you all think about Miss Charlotte?
