Easy Peasy DIY Notebooks

I'm a scribbler and one of those people who writes lists as a boredom buster technique. That said, it is no surprise to see wads of paper (full of ideas, menu lists, to-do lists, and just lists) filling up my purse. I write on receipts, construction paper, notebook paper, printer paper, well, any kind of paper! Finally, I got tired of having my notes and inspiration ideas all over the place.

So, I grabbed some cardstock, scissors, printer paper, and twine, and I made myself an "idea" notebook. Once I started, I couldn't help but make a few more (each with its own style!). I didn't make a fancy tutorial because I think that they were super simple to make. Plus, I'm just being lazy. It's been a busy, busy week!

If any of you are curious on how exactly I made them, send me an e-mail and I'll spill the beans!

Simple, sweet, and free! What more can you ask for?

  1. I love these, so simple and sweet. And that is pretty ironic, I was just thinking how I could make some little ones from old cereal boxes! I too love little notebooks, I have them all over the place. In my car, purse, bedside table...you just never know when an idea will strike!

  4. I'm catching up on some posts and wanted to let you know that I would love to learn more about how you made these. I ALWAYS have little notes laying around. I took a book binding class and I found it was way too much work. Yours look much better.
