February Fit and Fabulous: Pita Pizza!

Yesterday, I woke up at the crack of dawn (not really, just 6:30!) and got reacquainted with my weights.  Today, I'm reacquainted with muscle pain! Anyway, I'm just happy to get started on an exercise routine again.  It has been waaayyyy too long!

Today the healthy recipe that I'm going to share with you is simple and yummy.  Not only that, but it's a great alternative to regular pizza!

Pita Pizza

Ingredients:
--Pita bread (the regular square/circular ones are best)
--Marinara or Alfredo sauce (I've also used BBQ sauce)
--Toppings (cheese, feta, spinach, chicken, pepperoni, ham...you get the picture!)

Directions:
--Set oven at 350 degrees
--Bake pita bread for about five minutes (it just depends on how thick your pita bread is).
--Take pita bread out and slather with toppings.
--Bake until cheese is melted or topping are warm (between 6 and 10 minutes)

That's it!  I love this because you can make so many varieties and it's a whole lot better for you than the regular stuff :)  Enjoy!
