Train Case- Revamped

Although I bought this little blue train case with the intention of selling it on Etsy, after finishing it, I decided to keep it.  Plus, it fell over (not once, but three times) during its photo shoot, so there were a few spots that got nicked up.  I was secretly happy that I had an excuse to keep it!
It's definitely not Christmasy, but I think that it would be fun to make one with Christmas paper and it it for storage.

It was a simple project.  Here's the basics:
1. Buy a train case (if you want something simple) or a hardcover suitcase (if you want to covered in mod podge for days!).
2. Cut out various sizes of scrapbook paper or whatever other paper you can find (vintage wallpaper would be fun!).  I used scrapbook paper, vintage dictionary pieces, and old sheet music.
3. Place and glue (with mod podge) each piece down where you'd like it, overlapping as you go.  You may have to cut some pieces to the exact shape that you'd like.
4. Wait for it to dry and seal it with some extra coats of mod podge.
5. Stamp something fun on it for an extra sweet detail!

Here's what that process produced for me! I left the top alone since I thought the creases would make the paper look funky.

Have a lovely evening!
